Star Wars Limited Edition LEGO Minifigures
Over the last couple of years LEGO have been releasing very special limited edition Star Wars minifigures which are free when you spend over a certain amount at LEGO stores, the Online LEGO Shop and other participating stores. These minifigures come in their own special packaging and have become highly collectible. The first ever limited minifigure was a chrome C-3PO released in 2007.
Their release is usual timed around a key event in the Star Wars Universe. We will endeavour to keep this post updated as and when new limited edition Star Wars minifigures are released.

Released in January 2009 as part of the LEGO Star Wars 10th anniversary this Chrome Darth Vader Minifigure was limited to 10,000 and there were 7 parts (Head, Helmet, Torso, Legs, Cape, Lightsaber Blade, Lightsaber Hilt).

Released in October 2010 to celebrate episode five of the Star Wars trilogy this Chrome Stormtrooper Minifigure was given as a special promotion when you spend over £30 at Toys R Us.

To celebrate 30 years since The Empire Strikes Back was released this LEGO White Boba Fett Minifigure was given out free in 2010. Primarily in white instead of the usual colours (its head and blaster are black) and featuring minimalist printing.

This Shadow ARF Trooper Minifigure was given away free as a part of the “May the 4th” promotion in 2011. To date, there are no references in the Star Wars Universe to a Shadow ARF Trooper, and there are no known ARF Troopers with black armour.

This limited edition Darth Maul Minifigure was given to visitors to the 2012 New York Toy Fair as a taster for darth maul appearing in the TV Series: The Clone Wars.

The LEGO TC-14 Minifigure was given away free as a part of the “May the 4th” promotion in 2012 when spending US $75 or GBP £50 more on Star Wars sets. TC-14 is a protocol droid with feminine programming.
These limited edition minifigures are very hard to find however when we last checked they were all available to buy on Ebay.
SWTOR Sith Inquisitor Custom Minifigure
This Sith Inquisitor Custom Minifigure is inspired from the Star Wars: The Old Republic multi-player online game from BioWare. The Sith Inquisitor is one of two Empire-aligned Force-user classes, and more involved with politics of the Empire and the dark secrets or artifacts of the Force.

Inquisitors spend their time learning Dark side philosophy and increasing their skills with the Force. Their use of Force Lightning is far more powerful than the Sith Warriors. Sith Pureblood and Humans make the best Inquisitors however other species such as Twi’lek and Zabrak must prove their value amid intense persecution.
Overall on the minifig? I’ll give it 9/10. The decals are amazing and machine printed, especially the face. The navy, black and red printed armour on the torso and legs is great quality. The Sith Inquisitor comes with grey Vambraces, a red lightsaber, and a Force Lightning piece.
Buy the Sith Inquisitor custom minifigure from Green Pea Toys.

SWTOR Lord Scourge Custom Minifigure

SWTOR (Star Wars The old Republic) is a direction LEGO are heading into with two sets already announced for the summer. With so many well known characters I decided to see how easy it would be to create my own custom minifigure. There are several recognised methods in creating your own minifigures, by either the use of paint, laser printer decals, or the purist way of just using other LEGO pieces.
Opting for the purist method, the hardest part, and most enjoyable is finding the right armour, body parts, and cloak however with Lord Scrouge having a Sith red head I struggled to find a piece suitable.
Lord Scourge is a male pureblood Sith Lord of the Sith Empire, prior to its emergence in the Great Galactic War 301 BTC (3954 BBY). After several assassination attempts against Darth Nyriss were orchestrated by her as part of an effort to discredit a rival on the Dark Council, Nyriss recruited Lord Scourge into a conspiracy to overthrow the Emperor. After betraying Revan, Scourge then swore his loyalty to the Emperor, believing that it would only be a matter of time before the Jedi from his vision emerged to kill the Emperor. Scourge was then granted immortality through a Sith ritual performed by the Emperor, who declared him to be the Emperor’s Wrath.
Parts used:
BrickWarriors Resistance Trooper Armour (Black)
BrickForge Vambraces (Black)
Red head
Black Legs & Black Jedi Torso
Black Cloak
Red Lightsaber and Chrome hilt
These parts are available at FireStar Toys, however if you do not want to make your own then Green Pea Toys are selling a really good Lord Scourge minifigure on Ebay.
Overall on the minifig? I’ll give it 9/10. The decals are amazing and machine printed, and it is really hard to get a red Sith face. Lord Scourge comes with grey vambraces, silver body armour, a red lightsaber, and a Force Lightning piece.

Lord Adraas LEGO Custom Minifigure

Lord Adraas was chosen by Darth Angral to lead fifty Sith warriors on board a stolen Republic shuttle for an attack on the Jedi Temple to aid Darth Malgus during the Sacking of Coruscant featured in the Star Wars The Old Republic book Deceived.
When Malgus retrieved his lover, Eleena Daru, he ordered Adraas to personally bring a medical team to tend to her wounds. Lord Adraas instead redirected her to a local hospital overtaken by Sith soldiers.
Upon leaving Coruscant, Darth Malgus cornered Adraas in his personal estate and overpowered him in a lightsaber duel. When Adraas tried to use Force lightning, Malgus laughed at him and used Force Lightning to tortured him and Adraas begged to be killed. Malgus removed his gloves, and killed Adraas with his own hands.
Overall on the minifig? I’ll give it 8/10. The decals are amazing and machine printed, especially the face. The only criticism is that the colours look a bit washed out however this is still an amazing minifigure which I doubt LEGO will ever release. Lord Adraas comes with black Vambraces, a red lightsaber, and a Force Lightning piece.
