R2-D2 Lego Star Wars Minifigure

The original R2-D2 Lego Star Wars Minifigure was released in 1999 and has appeared in over 20 Star Wars Lego Sets from Episode I The Phantom Menace through to Episode VI Return of the Jedi including the Clone Wars TV series. R2-D2 who was an Astromech Droid for both Anakin and Luke Skywalker. As well as a standard version there are also bodiless variation’s when only his head appears in a set.
The original R2-D2 Minifigure can be found in Star Wars Lego Sets Jabba’s Message 4475, X-Wing Fighter 4502, Jabba’s Sail Barge 6210, X-Wing Fighter 6212, Droid Escape 7106, X-Wing Fighter 7140, Naboo Fighter 7141, X-Wing Fighter 7142, Mos Espa Podrace 7171, Millennium Falcon 7190, Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid 7256 (Head only), Ultimate Space Battle 7283 (Head only), Naboo N-1 Starfighter and Vulture Droid 7660, Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter 7669, The Twilight 7680, and Sandcrawler 10144.

For the Clone Wars R2-D2 was redesigned and appears in the Star Wars Lego Set Anakin’s Y-Wing Starfighter 8037.

In 2008 R2-D2 was redesigned with a new body print and appears in the Star Wars Lego Sets The Battle of Endor 8038, Luke’s Landspeeder 8092, Droid Escape 9490, and the Death Star 10188.

Captain Panaka Lego Star Wars Minifigure

The Captain Panaka Lego Star Wars Minifigure was released in 2011 and features in Episode I The Phantom Menace. Panaka was the captain of the Naboo Security Officers at the time of the invasion of Naboo, and head protector of Queen Amidala.
Captain Panaka appears in the Star Wars Lego Set Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator 7961 along with Darth Maul, Padmé Amidala, and Qui-Gon Jinn.

Padme Amidala Lego Star Wars Minifigure

The Padme Amidala Lego Star Wars Minifigure features in Episode I The Phantom Menace and was the Queen of Naboo when the Trade Federation invaded her planet. Padme marries Anakin Skywalker and gives birth to Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa before she dies. The original minifigure appears in Star Wars Lego Sets Anakin’s Podracer 7131 and Mos Espa Podrace 7171.

In 2011 the Padme Amidala minifigure was given a redesign with a physical flesh-coloured appearance, and appears in the Star Wars Lego Set Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator 7961.

Darth Maul Lego Star Wars Minifigure

Taken from Episode I The Phantom Menace the original Darth Maul Lego Star Wars Minifigure was released in 1999 and was was Darth Sidious’ Sith apprentice. Trained to use a double-bladed lightsaber. Maul carried out several missions for his Master, before facing Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the epic battle finale. Darth Maul appears in the Star Wars Lego Sets Lightsaber Duel 7101 and Sith Infiltrator 7151.
In 2007 the minifigure had a slight redesign where the grey printing on his torso piece was updated. This minifigure appeared in the Star Wars Lego Set Sith Infiltrator 7663.

In 2011 the Darth Maul minifigure had another redesign with a new horn piece head, and appears in the Star Wars Lego Set Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator 7961.

Watto Lego Star Wars Minifigure

The Watto Lego Star Wars Minifigure appears in Episode I The Phantom Menace who is a Toydarian junkyard dealer who once owned Anakin Skywalker and his mother Shmi as slaves. Not affected by Jedi mind tricks Watto owns a small junk parts shop in the town of Mos Espa on Tatooine.
Watto won Shmi Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker in a bet with a gangster named Gardulla the Hutt. When Anakin won the Boonta Eve Classic, Watto liberated Anakin, who would go on to become a Jedi. He later sold Shmi to Cliegg Lars who freed and married her.

The Original Watto Lego Star Wars Minifigure can be found in the Star Wars Lego Set Watto’s Junkyard 7186 however in 2011 it had a redesign which is available in Star Wars Lego Set Anakin’s and Sebulba’s Podracers 7962.
